Maybe it’s just me but I don’t get the hate behind this game, I really enjoyed the demo. It plays and looks like you would expect so no great expectancy.

OMG IT HAS CROSSPLAY AND OFFLINE SINGLE PLAYER AND OFFLINE CO-OP!!!!

Okay this is definitely a cop on Switch 2. Cause I wanna play offline at work. When I go online at home I can play online and fight with peeps in co-op or fight nikkas in the versus mode.

However, that’s not the main draw for me. The main draw is that it controls like Zone of the Enders more than the original Daemon X Machinima did. It’s like dude just copied shyt from the game, even the Vector Cannon. Did they copy Zero shift too?

I might wait till this goes on sale cause I’m still playing Cyberpunk and Donkey Kong on Switch 2.

I favorited it on PS5 too. Waiting on a sale.

Is this any good? I haven't played a good Mecha game in a long time.
The reviews are above average at major gaming reviews around 75 to 90 in review scores. 26gb on PS5 60fps. 23gb on Switch 2, capped at 30fps. According to one YouTube commenter, he went to one of the industry events and the developers told him it was initially designed on Switch 1 but due to it’s complexity the moved it to PC and multiple consoles that’s why it runs so well on Switch 2 because they started there.

The main differences between the first game and the sequel is that they switched from Mechs to Exosuits, stages to open world, Cel-shaded to Manga style with photorealistic mecha design and the action is more fluid and faster.

Appreciate the info. Do I have to play the first game to play this one?

I've never played the full games for both. Just the demos. I spent a good enough time on the demos to get the gist of things. No. You don't need to play the first game because it occurs centuries later. That's probably their reasoning for abandoning mechs and switching to super powered humans with exosuits. Think of the first game as an Armored Core clone. Now think of this one as a Zone of the Enders clone with Armored Core customization.
