:snoop: fickle rap fans these days

Can you let him cook on his album wave right now? He's touring still on this album. Earl is about to drop in a couple months. You want Tyler to put out back to back albums in the same year? Just cuz you not listenin to him don't mean no one else is

Wolf is a great album from an artist I once despised... He grew a lot on that project but sadly the hipster crowd that embraced him wanted that juvenile controversial shyt. In reality Wolf is the evolution of his sound. Their initial buzz was born from tyler's image not music, hipsters loved that roach eating stunt so he got some shine off that and a claim for being new edgy... These are just fickle fans caught up in image

:rudy: When has Odd Future ever really made NOISE like that besides Yonkers and the internet hype behind EARL going viral?

Tyler managed to turn that OF buzz into a decent amount of money via selling socks, managed to get the OF imprint(or whatever the deal is), and got a fukkin' tv show out of it. Sold nearly 100k without any radio singles and stuff like that, and has yet to really get any major mainstream push for the album like Yonkers had. Not too bad for the kid. :obama:

Rest of OF is just...:patrice:. Besides Earl and Jet Age/The Internet that whole roster is forgettable. WOLF is dope though, it shows Tyler's progression on all fronts IMO, it just sucks that he gave this progression to his fans and they're probably the least susceptible to it. They just want more b*stard/Yonkers.

Wolf sold twice as much in its first week than Goblin did its first week.

And that's without a Yonkers type video and the initial hype Goblin had.

Dude is making a bunch from the clothing line, they have their own label where they have creative control, decide when their music comes out, have a tv show, non-stop touring.

I think they don't care about buzz or sales at all, and are enjoying the life they've carved out for themselves...and I think a lot of people are waiting for Earl's album

You just proved my point with this response. All you doin is mainstream artist dikk ridin. Of course you wouldn't see what OF is doin right now. And Wale's album is better than Kanyes Waynes Coles & Jays so quiet that noise. You makin it seem like Tyler was some superstar in everyone's mouth. For what he is and where he's at he's doing great. A lot of rappers would love to be in his spot.
