Him and his wife would hold an annual cookout called 'Heaven Up In Harlem' that started after the death of a Harlem/Brooklyn gangster named Conrad Shiest aka Calee Sanders. The cookout is to honor the dead and celebrate life. This year his wife passed away right before the 20th anniversary cook out so when you hear him bring her up and how this was the biggest turn out at the cookout it's because it was a big deal that she had recently passed so the turn out was serious due to paying her respect. What he was saying about everybody introducing their sons to each other is part of the tradition, which also includes turning to whoever is around you that you don't know and introducing yourself while shaking their hand.
