Dame is one of my OG's.
But he needs to stop this. Lupe didn't sign with Roc because he turned down Jay's offer. Roc offered them like 50 for the advance. But Lupe and Chill wanted to do their own thing, and that's where the 1st and 15th sh*t popped off.
Lupe would come to the studio all the time, back then. And he already had his own records and damn near an album recorded, but he needed a deal. So he would drop by and basically audition for everybody in the studio. Roc might've been a little cheap with the advance and that's why he turned down the deal.
