Damian Lillard is reportedly seeking another meeting with Portland Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen.

Per John Canzano of the Oregonian, one NBA front office source said Thursday that the All-Star point guard has put in a request to speak with Allen:

"In fact, Lillard may have already requested a follow-up meeting with owner Paul Allen, the source indicated. Apparently, the source said, Lillard's agent Aaron Goodwin is whispering as much. If so, great. Because Goodwin might seize on the good news and utilize Thursday's All-NBA announcement to push that Allen-Lillard meeting into fruition."

Canzano didn't provide details on what Lillard might have to say if he gets a meeting with Allen.

LeBron + Dame Dolla :blessed:

"No, I don't think so. I don't think so, but he definitely uses that. I like how he uses that. If you're a true basketball [mind] -- there's not a lot of true basketball minds and people that understand the game -- but for me, I understand it. I know," James said. Give me Damian Lillard. I'll show you how appreciated he'll be."

I feel like seeing what the Rockets have done this season compared to last should have him excited at the thought of what the Trail Blazers can do with the right management calls. The Warriors aren't unbeatable. Why can't the Trail Blazers do some re-tooling and be WCF contenders next year if they make some smart moves?

Because they got swept by the 6th seed missing their 2nd best player after getting swept the previous year by those same Warriors you're talking about, while having no cap space or flexibility to improve their roster in any meaningful way going forward without breaking up their backcourt.

He's probably going to ask for a trade if that is the case cause with all the money they have spent it's not to many moves Portland can make without getting real creative. And even then it's probably not going to be enough for them to be real contenders or make Dame totally happy.
