Idk why ppl are killing Portland …they’re giving Dame the MLE .

As far as dame is concerned no he’s not going to be competing for a title ..but he tried that and failed ..This move solidifies his spot as without any question an icon out there for the next 30+ years.
I think people are killing Portland because dame is out for the whole year and they paying him 20 mil just to rehab

That is a waste of money

I don’t have problem with dame coming back to Portland. But what a waste of money

He selling himself short. Going out on a lottery team when you controlled your own future is criminal

Hes built different.

He doesn’t care about chasing rings. He gave Into that pressure but after his time in Milwaukee it probably confirmed what he always felt…that he rather just be comfortable and happy

Sucks to see as a fan him choose this fate but he’s one of the best to ever do it regardless…

Can’t be a waste of money because they gonna gross way more then 42 million off this move ..

You can either get Dame back in PDX for the 14 or spend that on a nikka like NAW …who ain’t gonna move the needle either .

I think yall forget that Dame had shyt built in Portland to his liking.

Like the training facility etc.

His in print and input is all over everything. He has “power” that shyt is priceless in an nba world where you could be sent to Sacramento or Memphis overnight
I don't get the issue. Not like Portland's a WCF contender in any of those 3 years or the few after, so why not?

You make right and patch things up with Dame when that split ended badly and a couple people thought he was screwed over and now help him recover

Him being back is going to move tickets and get people caring again if nowhere but there in Portland, anybody thinking differently doesn't know anything about the team or that community. Young players will still get minutes and patience to figure the game out and while having the best player in franchise history to learn from. If it was another team I don't see any win to signing him, I don't see any loss for the Blazers
