Everyone ignores the big elephant in the room until it becomes a common theme. Funny part Dame was pro-vaccine without doing any research and used the same mainstream media rebuttal "I do it for my family I do not want to infect them or put them at risk. Well couple years later he is a victim of misinformation.

Dyslexic, illiterate and misinformed will not bother to read the literature.

The Link Between J&J’s COVID Vaccine and Blood Clots: What You Need to Know

Relationship between blood clots and COVID-19 vaccines: A literature review
Stop spreading this misinformation.

There's absolutely no correlation (let alone causation) between the COVID vaccine and blood clots. Furthermore, let's say for argument's sake that there is a link between the two, any side effects like thrombosis would be seen within a finite period of having the vaccine(s). Not years after the fact.

This is an article from 2015 - Three NBA Players Struck by Blood Clots in Recent Weeks

You gonna blame the COVID vaccine for that too?

I had a dvt in the left leg. It traveled to lungs resulting in a pulmonary embolism.

He may have to retire.
I’m good man this happened like 11 years ago but I still take preventive measures so that it won’t happen again.
You shouldn't have taken that COVID vaccine 11 years ago.

:troll:

In all seriousness, that's good you got your health in check now.

How did you discover it if you don't mind me asking?

I had a pain in my left calf that would not go away. It kept getting worse, to the point that I had no choice but to go to the ER. They did an ultrasound and uncovered I had a blood clot, which I figured was the case. Whole calf area was swollen.

Sad news, hope his health is alright.

This is not a place for conspiracies, he could also get blood clots in his leg from travelling so damn much by planes. It's not just games they use plane to travel you know...

They're happening more often because sports doctors are looking out for them now since these players travel so much. Being in a high intensity contact sport and the high altitude increases the risks of getting them at a relatively young age. Basketball players are traveling more and more at younger ages with AAU, college and the game becoming more international in general. Players might be traveling in the summer to Asia to promote the game or play for their country non stop.
You're right. Especially tall athletes who don't sit in the most comfortable position with little leg room. There is some possibility that it could happen to an athlete after years of travelling by plane.

Kinda doping causing this? And why does it seem to only be happening to nba players?

Take your head out of the sand and stop just reading dikk size info. This thread shows it doesn't happen to just NBA players AND it's been happening before 2021
