The harkless and Leonard deal aren't as terrible. They basically mid level contract.
It's the Turner contract that's horrible and holding them back. No matter how good he plays he can never outperform that contract.

Considering that Leonard can't even get off the bench, it's an equally horrible deal.
i wished the blazers would've just blown the team up at the trade deadline. trade dame, cj, and nurkic to western teams on the cusp so that GS would've had to work a little harder to make it out.

That being said, I've been saying CJ/Dame was the scariest tandem in the league.

Those contracts are easily removeabke if they have a good year . Harkless is capable. This is my criticism of Lillard: he doesn't make his teammates better. Harkless is in the mold of Ariza. Harkless is a good perimeter shooter and a good defender, imo better defender than Ariza. He's the the perfect 3 and d complimentary player for the Portland squad but yet struggles to see the floor. That contract isn't
He's a role player like Ariza making a a lil bit more than a Ariza. That contract isn't bad . It's in the coaching staff and Lillard who runs the offense that Harkless isn't performing up standard.
I remember chatting with Portland fans saying they would easily do an Ariza for Harkless trade
. They supposedly to play the same role for their squads. Harkless will be the player that Portland trades away and see him become a productive player for another squad
