A lot of black people made money when rap dominated but it was the worst era of representation of black people ever in my humble opinion.

2004 was Lil Jons year. The biggest dissapointments of 2004 were Cassidys debut, Ems Encore and Jada's sophmore release.

Damn thats crazy. There was alot of diversity in there as well. None of the songs didnt really sound alike. Hey Ya, I like the Way you move, to Lean Back, to Slow Motion.

I didnt even know Slow Motion was number 1. Damn Juvenile and them really did get fukked over in there money. Apparently Kesha sampled the song? :heh: and the song has Three 6 mafia on it...

Lean Back was a number #1 hit? :ohhh:

That Usher album was a classic, Usher's longevity in this game is :wow:

Dude is still making hits (Let me see with Ross)

Top 10 R & B singer

:mindblown: at every single from the Confession album being a #1 hit

Is it safe to say Hip Hop & R & B hit its popularity peak in 2004 :mjpls:

I mean even R & B singers was getting play on pop stations, with regular sounding R & B songs (Usher with Burn).
