You did appear on Yeezus on the song “Guilt Trip.” A lot of fans were excited to see you featured—although it was just the outro. What's the story behind that collaboration?

The vocal that I did on that song was a couple years old. I forgot which session it was, but it was just a reference. I discovered that I was on the song via Twitter. I saw kids hitting me up, like, “Are you on ‘Guilt Trip!?’ or saying “Great job!” and I’m like, “What the fukk is everyone talking about?” So I go on Twitter and then I hear the song and I’m like, “OK. I know the beat. I know the song.” Then I’m like, “Oh man, OK.” Part of me was flattered, like, it’s kind of cool that he thought of me.

Then I started thinking about it more. It was like, Why not call me and have me come in there and give it? Why underuse me? Why put four bars of vocals to coax my fans into thinking this is a legitimate Kid Cudi feature on this songand it isn’t? Same deal with the G.O.O.D. Music album, the compilation. Had I not given Kanye “Creepers” my only presence would’ve been on that one song, that I can’t even remember the title for. [“The Morning” —Ed.] I would’ve barely been on that album

Yeah
- The first and last time cudi mentioned Kanye in the public, was the radio show in which he announced his split from GOOD.

- Yes, cudi was featured on Guilt Trip, but this was a song created during the WTT sessions and cudi once again has never publicly acknowledged the song. His fans have def tweeted at him how much they loved his part in it, but he's never once mentioned it.

- Big Sean and Cudi toured together and BOTH put off a vibe that neither were happy with Kanye. Hell, it was reported Sean was pissed with the way Kanye handled Hall of Fame and almost had a falling out with him too

- In regards to Sean, Cudi still mentions his "GOOD fam for life" but only includes Sean, Pusha and Common. Never has he said Kanye

- During the numerous amounts of interviews Kanye has had in the last year, not once was Cudi ever brought up, even though within the music world it was a huge story that they split apart. It could possibly be that none of the interviewers actually cared enough to ask, but it's also extremely possible that Kanye specifically made it an "off limits" question

- 2013 wasn't the first time there appeared to be animosity/dislike among the two, during the CS era Cudi had specifically stated how he felt he was purposely left off the creative process and was not offered to do/be apart of any of the songs on the collab album

- Kanye had cudi star in the CS movie, yet after it's original showing, it was never released or talked about again to the public (until recently)

- Cudi addressed a tweet about 808s, stating how that project was basically just as much his doing as it was Kanyes

- Back to Indicud, it was originally going to be a very in depth rap project that would feature a bunch from good and Cudi had stated Kanye was definitely going to be on it and probably have some produced tracks as well. We all know how that ended up turning out

- During an AMA and Twitter questioning, there were MANY questions about Kanye and Cudis relationship, specifically on the AMA where they were up voted a lot, but cudi ignored every single one of them

- Finally, the track "Too Bad" on SF was originally produced and feature by Kanye. Cudi cut him out.

not surprised. there's no other reason for a rising star and a top brand (who are perfect fits musically) to want to part ways besides having serious problems with each other

it's funny though most "bosses" in this industry lose their people because they steal money or dog their artists...but Kanye appears to be genuinely not all the way there anymore..not capable of being a true/consistent Leader....i guess he once again pushed the boundaries of Hip-Hop :yeshrug:

I thought the song 'Mad Solar' on Indicud was aimed at his relationship with Kanye and the falling out they had...could be wrong though...:yeshrug:
