If we took education serious and stopped having kids out of wedlock our income would be the same. That's the main difference between Black Americans and immigrants.

Taxes fund schools but black gdp suffers due to over-policing and arrest quotas and legacy redlining.

You can argue maybe black folks need to look at those who have it worse but it's tough to step outside oneself.

Immigrants come from environments with massive nepotism, burocracy and sky high interest rates so their reference point is different.

We need to find our niche and build from that.

Some may take issue with it, and I get it, but historically we worked off the land and provided domestic services.

Building businesses off of that.

Cornering the farming market may be lucrative.
Or even the domestic services like Molly Maids.
Or in-house home health care.

These industries should, at the very least, be dominated by black folks. But I get it, most of us wouldn't want to touch them with a 10 foot pole because of perceptions. However, the services are still in demand.

unfortunately this is indicative of an american mindset...with black americans of course suffering the most...seen it too many times...I remember this vietnamese student who started off the year not speaking much english other than what he’d learned in viet nam...by the end of the year he was outperforming some black and white students on standardized tests...students who’d been speaking english their entire lives who did not have learning disabilities...just a lazy mentality smh
