True but this is largely impacted by cultural differences. Asians let their parents run their lives even as adults. African American kids just aren't going go with that, for the most part.

I wish that my family was the do it together type. We were taught to work hard, do for self, have your own family, etc. These aren't bad guides to follow, but imagine working hard together early on, someone always there to challenge you to be better, you each find your way in the world or build something together, which set a blueprint for your little cousins, offspring, etc. to follow.

most of you would not trade up economic uncertainty for arranged marriages and miserable lives. we just looking at cold hard numbers and ignoring the fact that those lifestyles are not appealing to many of us. I mean if you feel that model is adoptable go for it. focusing on simply households with higher income and ignoring how they achieve that is disingenuous. could be 12 people in a single family home working shyt jubs... seen it plenty. they are also outpacing white people in this category but that doesn't mean they have more wealth in general. just from this point of view (household income)
