Asians are as materialistic if not more than anyone. only difference is you can't be stunting just because you bought some clothes. you showing off a high paying job or some posh education with your wardrobe.

They're also not "flexors" at least not when they don't have money. The Asians I knew that flexed always had money. On the contrary I know a lot of black flexors whose closet has more monetary value than their savings account.

What have they held themselves accountable for?

They flex alot in l.a county and stunt allot, among themselves. Broke or not. Always selling and wearing fake and real luxury brands.

They definately have no problem aborting unwanted pregnancies

They are definately into drugs hard liquor and petty crime.

The parents threatening to end their existence for not performing helps alot.

They extort and protect their local shop owners.

The family side is strong and acts as a resource pool to raise capital as needed.

Of all groups, you rarely see Asians supporting any small businesses, especially ours.

Have you ever seen an Asian eating in a black owned restaurant?

Now think about how many times you’ve patronized an Asian business throughout your life.

They collect all our money and don’t give shyt back to us.

That’s a good point. My (Pakistani) parents only eat halal food so most of the time they end up eating at restaurants owned by other Muslims. I can’t say for sure if any of them are black owned but I assume at least some are.

I actually did a thesis in college of the income disparities between Mexicans, Hondurans, and Colombians. Colombians tends to be highly educated and tap into their social networks before immigrating to the US. They are still lower than Nigerians but Nigerians tends to follow the same pattern.

I'd guess those Colombians would be more of the "Spaniard" or white persuasion aka the elites of Latin America while the folks from Mexico or Honduras were more of what people call "brown" or of mestizo background.

Asian $ is akin to whites(higher if you just go by Indians in LA), whites marry them to create white looking kids(Keanu Reeves, Zach from Saved by the Bell, Olivia Munn, etc), and Asians as a collective have the same ws views as most whites do.

Black people simply need to corner a market and dominate like these other groups.

Indians with tech. But that was built up from Subways, Dunkin Donuts, and Corner Stores.

Filipinos with nursing.

Africans with livery services, pre-Uber.

We need to find our niche and build from that.

Or in-house home health care.

These industries should, at the very least, be dominated by black folks. But I get it, most of us wouldn't want to touch them with a 10 foot pole because of perceptions. However, the services are still in demand.

That was Booker T Washington’s entire argument. Some saw it as c00ning, but he was encouraging Black people to corner the market on certain skills we were the go-to people on after slavery.

WEB DuBois wanted us to pursue more refinement via liberal arts.

I’d argue we’d have a significant economic base had we followed Booker T Washington’s lead and then pivoted to liberal arts after the economic base was established.

The reality is ADOS doesn’t like to work together. Asian communities generally do.

I dont think this is fair, considering most of our "households" are one woman and her offspring. The asians ethnicities left their their single moms in their home country, and have 2 parent households in the US.


If you eliminate this outlier of single parents, im certain that black households can outdo the bottom 5 asian categories. Its not that hard for 2 adults to pull in 36k even in the south.

Yeah, when I've looked at other stats about individuals, it looks like Hmong, Cambodians, Laotians, Burmese, and Pacific Islanders have pretty close to the same general stats as the Black community.

Vietnamese and Thai do a little bit better but that's in part cause the country really did a good job of helping the ones that we allowed to immigrate after the war.

Most of the other Asian groups are highly inflated by the fact that we're mostly allowing doctors, scientists, tech employees, businessmen, and college/graduate students to get visas. If it was a normal mix from their country it wouldn't be ANYTHING like that. I mean, Indians were at the top, but you really think that would hold if 10 million uneducated Indians from the villages and slums came over rather than half a million doctors?

Trust comes from trustworthiness. That comes from having a culture of integrity and community building. Both of which black people no longer have as a group

Hard to build with another Black man when you are jealous of him.

And that jealously is driven by the stunting.
