That sounds good but he signed a contract and with that contract comes certain expectations AND obligations.

He will be a free agent in a few months and then he'll be free to do exactly what you did.
And if he breached that contract, he'd face litigation. Has Joe Tsai and the Nets filed litigation against Kyrie Irving?

Kyrie wasn't going to breach that contract as he's not going to walk away from millions, which is why it was always hilarious that posters thought that he would when that Tsai situation happened.

That's not how it works and even you know that especially considering that a lot of NBA contracts are guaranteed. As SAS mentioned yesterday, Kyrie wants to do whatever he wants to do while still getting paid in full for it and that's not necessarily how it works.
That's exactly how it works. The terms are negotiated and agreed upon in the collective bargaining agreement. Kyrie did not get paid for the games he did not play that were not due to injury. Guaranteed doesn't mean what you think it means, there are still terms within the guarantee.

Kyrie was very adamant that in the games the Nets told him he could not play (which cost him $380,000 per game) he was fine with not being paid if he couldn't play. They just thought that all he would care about was the money and he called that bluff by being content with the lack of earnings.

Kyrie does care about the money at the end of the day and he's made that very clear. Posters have said that he doesn't but his own words and actions say otherwise. Once again, it's why he isn't walking away from the Nets or the NBA after the Tsai situation eventhough posters on here were adamant that he would.

He isn't trying to walk around from $200 million dollars and those guarantees are more guarantees than their fellow NFL counterparts as they aren't bound by the salary cap.

I agree they're more guaranteed than the NFL but that isn't what the discussion is about. And I'm not saying Kyrie doesn't care about money period but within the situation with the Nets they attempted to make him play by saying he will miss out on earnings if he did not comply with their wishes and he said "Ok" and accepted the terms they set forward by not getting paid. There is nothing to refute about this breh. You're trying to speak on the generalization of if he cares about money but we are talking about a SPECIFIC situation with specific parties in which he demonstrated he did not care about the money they witheld. We know that because the decision made and displayed to us that he obliged those terms. Joe Tsai gave him an ultimatum that he thought would be a successful tactic. It failed. I'm not saying he doesn't care about all of his money I'm saying that he was willing to sacrifice some of it because he did not agree to the new terms that became associated with it until it no longer was. When they removed those terms, he played and earned.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
These racists sure love pilling on kyrie, go look at the NBA sub reddit a klan rally anytime his name is mentioned, the bottom line is white guys and white people mainly angry at kyrie, i dont give a fukk, they arent honest arbiters anyway, i will support kyrie against these morons who were quick to forget brett favre criminal exploits and move on, stop taking these white guys seriously
The catch22 is, those folks are “libs” while we know that a lot of libs like to virtue signal as “allies”, but are undercover racists, while if you go look at the proud, in your face racists/bigots, they LOVE kyrie, because he spouts a lot of their same talking points in regards to vaccines, and jews. Most of the folks on Reddit, especially the NBA team subs, are pieces of shyt, but that doesn’t mean that Kyrie is without fault, and if the argument is “undercover racists on Reddit hate Kyrie” as proof that Kyrie can’t be full of shyt, you have to try harder

Thats a fair point and kyrie certainly is with alot of blame and fault i just dont like the overthe top hypocrtiical nonsense when they let white guys and other scumbags like favre, dana white etc scape through a lot of things. They give every excuse in the book to white folks but kyrie is suddenly ''the worst athelte of all time'' or something along those lines that the white supremacist dave portnoy a sexual abuser scumbag said on twiter some days back, stuff like this is why folks tend to lean towards irving side.
