Nah bro…there was some years that were outliers but for the most part we don’t see snow like that at least like any real cold weather city
We usually get all our snow at once in 2-3 storms in the winter usually in January and February
Our December’s are pretty mild All-Time average is 42-44 degree highs.
Anywhere below 40 is cold for me
NY get snow flurries in Nov and Dec, but now in Jan we get hit with sledgehammer snowstorms. But the DMV area gets hit with a major snowstorm once every 5 to 7 years. I was down there in early 2010 and was trapped in my apartment for 2 weeks due to cabin fever.
But early 2015 was TERRIBLE. Snow on the ground for 60+ consecutive days with not a sight of grass
