I cant lie I used to blame Kobe 100 percent
After that 04 finals I was thinking damn he shooting them out of it
Then I blamed them both because of what was coming out
Then Shaq with those horrible raps he was doing while Kobe was still killing the NBA while Shaq was a pass around
It was 60-40 Shaq more to blame
Now im like its all Shaq
This dude was talking all year how well dwight was doing and how he proud of him he was

It’s funny as time goes on Kobe gets revealed as more of a good guy and Shaq is being revealed as more the bad guy.
Everyone thought Kobe was a dikk back then. Not saying he’s wasn’t but Shaq played a much bigger role in that breakup than we could have imagined. This whole Dwight situation illustrates it perfectly. I could understand when Dwight was drafted to Orlando to “fulfill Shaq’s broken promise” , then when he sharked Shaq's “Superman persona”. Knowing that Shaq is a sensitive dude I get why he was upset
But now Dwight is harmless, not a threat to him in anyway and has carried himself pretty humbly this last little while. And Shaq gets on him for enjoying a championship? Mark Madsen did less and was all over the cameras
