That doesn’t make sense that he should be sitting on the rim with a 48 inch vertical, but I also haven’t seen a reputable source say MJ did indeed have a 48 inch vertical. I would assume some of these shorter players had a higher vertical like a Nate Robinson. Doesn’t mean MJ’s vertical wasn’t elite though.
