I had Nudred way back in 2010 before my locs, when you could only order it online from their website. Too bad I didn't think to ask to invest a grand or two back then. The sponge did break off little by little but that product you listed looks like it would rip the hair more than a sponge or microfiber towel

That's exactly what makes this so brilliant. Cleaning them sponges is difficult and worthless. I had one before I officially locked hair and the shyt had me like even if you "clean" it, there's mad hairs all thru it. Plus you're absorbing a ton of moisture in your hair with a damn sponge.

You right. They both work exactly the same but the twistitup is more cleaner and looks like it will last longer.
