I'm not even religious but choose to respect one's beliefs. Religion is way deeper than anything else in this world. If you talk to truly religious people, like my mom for instance...it's even kind of sad how much they rely on religion for everything. They are filled with so much hope and faith of a better life to come after this one, why mess with them? There is no reason to unless you're an absolute dikk. Just let them live life.

I used to be really religious myself. But not anymore, glad I am no longer. Life is much better and fuller, now.
But I've noticed my father has gotten moreso with his.
Everytime now he talks about doing something, he's like, "Lord's will, if I wake up in the morning...." "When I get up in the morning, Lords will....." "Next week, Lord's will, I wanna go...." "If I feel enough good tomorrow, Lords will, I wanna go fix....."
I no longer see the point in being afraid to say what ur gonna do w/ ur own life or whatever b/c you think you're gonna somehow offend your God who obviously always has his own plan down to whether or not he doesnt want you to feel good enough tommorrow to do something. What's the point...

its best to look at the god of the new testament, separately from the Creator in the old testament. After all, they are 2 completely different religions.
