That's not how acting works. Brits have been portraying Americans for decades. Non Africans have been portraying Africans for decades.

Most brits portrayed in media in england are played by brits. Same with everyone else in their country. Most Black brits in media in england are played by Black brits, not Black Americans.

Foreigners are preferred by whites to portray Black American history because they're more willing to make a mockery of our history.
