Yeah, it doesn't make much sense.

I do like that they're not going to fast track the next title holder, but this isn't going to help the show.

While all of this is true, it just.........Christ. They could have introduce the GM at the Rumble along with the new plans like during the pre show, so the pre show can still be saved, thus people will actually tune in for whatever the hell on 205 Live, OR they could easily have a fatal five way of some sort, a gauntlet match, or something at the Rumble. I mean, you have a friggin division with no sort of direction. This friggin company had a show during a death of a wrestler along with a show during a blackout, but they need another week to figure out how to book a championship on another wrestler?
