You're better than this friend. Dapper Dan, by all indications, turned his life around and is saying a lot of positive and important things.

And even though Vice can be on that hipster shyt, this journalist is a black dude, and if you read this and his other article on Black masculinity, it's well done and sheds light on some important, uncomfortable historical context that you wouldn't expect from a clueless culture vulture. Can't always judge the book by it's cover friend.
