Encarnacion will be 34 two weeks.
3 years, 65M seems like a bit of a risk. At least on the back end.
But I kinda like this deal for the simple fact that Cleveland isn't a large market team. And their window is pretty small. They've got to go all-in. If Encarnacion sucks or gets hurt, it's only a 3 year deal so the sting wouldn't last very long. If he keeps OPSing in the high 800s...they've got one heck of a middle lineup with him, Naquin, Lindor and Kipnis (I'm leery of Naquin's power but I believe in his contact)
