Even though I like Dark Souls, I refuse to buy a game twice. Assassins creed black flag gave you the option to do a 10 dollar upgrade if you have a previous gen copy if I remember correctly. If these folks started doing that, then I would be on board with getting it. Not getting GTAV for same reason.
Only remastered version game I've bought so far is sleeping dogs, because I never played it on PS3. Also got wind waker HD because I never played it on gamecube.

I really appreciate bloodborne even more after replaying this a bit.
They just throw everything and the kitchen sink in this game,more,more and more. But most of it is crap.
Bosses are by far the worst in the souls games in this one. And they're all easy as fukk. I forgot just how boring and generic they are. Feels like I'm playing lords of the Fallen.

The way you put it, I agree. They were probably capitalising of the success of the first game. Some say the game being developed by the "B team" was the reason why it wasn't good. Saying that, DS2 is still enjoyable to me and I'm looking forward to completing it.

the best thing about this game is the improved functionality of it, the actual game parts like design and pacing are lost. I dont think the improved functionality bit should be understated tho, the game plays way better than ds1 or demons and has the longevity that bloodborne lacks.
It's still a good game no doubt. But it feels like someone's impersonation of a souls game then a souls Game. It's weird
