Platinumed Demon Souls & Dark Souls 2, 
From what I've seen this game is more fast paced, when I'm done with it I'm gonna cop Dark Souls 1 which is supposed to be the hardest.

I never played DS1
I took a break after Demon's Souls then by the time I was in the mood for these type of games DS2 was out.
I've heard it's supposed to be harder than DS2 then again some people say otherwise. IMO Demon Souls was the hardest mostly because of the rare items.
I bought Dark Souls 1 off of Steam for $5 - This game will fukk you up. 
It doesn't help this game is on Contra difficulty, barely explains anything and you get a boss the first ten minutes in? After that every enemy feels like a boss after that.
And some big knight with a shield the size of a car chased me up on a tower and got me with a OHK.
This game is really fun in a fukked up way.
Bright side one of bosses ended up knocking itself off the stage though.

The first boss is easy though. If you two hand your weapon and do the falling attack you should take away about half if not more of his HP in one attack. Then you just stay close to him.I bought Dark Souls 1 off of Steam for $5 - This game will fukk you up.

Stay away from the Knights until you learn how to back stab, they'll fukk you up every time.
Breh there's a boss in the Demon's Ruins mid-game that you can kill with some weak ass punches if you do it right. There's all kinds of exploits to take advantage of in Dark Souls.
If you enjoy broken and uncompetitive pvp go ahead. If you a carebear that buys games for the pve drop right in
