Dark Souls Free on Xbox Live - GameSpot

The game is being offered as part of Xbox’s Games With Gold promotion, which is now celebrating its one-year anniversary by adding an extra free Xbox 360 game to its usual allotment of two. The two other free games for June are Charlie Murder, a beat-em-up released last August, and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, the most recent version of the fighting game.

Xbox Live Gold members can download Dark Souls (normally $20) for free starting today and until June 15. Then, on June 16, you’ll be able to download Charlie Murder (normally $10) and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (normally $30) for free.

Microsoft also recently revealed how Games With Gold will work on Xbox One. Starting this month, Games With Gold will begin bringing "subscription-based access to free games" to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, starting with Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. As is the case with PlayStation Plus' Instant Game Collection offerings, you’ll only be able to access the free Games With Gold on Xbox One if you have an active Gold membership.

Finished downloading it a couple mins ago....this will be my first game in the series....looking forward to checking it out, especially all the hype about it's difficulty...

i'm not even gonna say how many times I died before killing that shyt....what about after you beat that shyt and get transported to another area via big fukkin eagle and those skeletons....son...I had to turn my box off before I lost my mind....how the fukk am i suppose to get passed them shyts with the attributes i have now...

Black Knights use to scare the fukk out of me, when I was low level. I can't imagine playing the game with them goons walking around the map, like the devs had it at one point.

I'm almost at the end of the game now, doing the dlc. These bosses are no fukking joke. Fighting the the drake (no drizzy) now. Damn thing came to the arena with the face, after flying past me like, "you don't want this friendo". Shot me the fair one. Had me looking at the fog gate after I died like, .
