Dating app meetup gone wrong: Flatbush man attacked, robbed at gunpoint at his apartment
According to police, two men dressed in black and wearing face masks forced their way into the apartment.

A 47-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint inside his Flatbush apartment Wednesday night, police said.
Police sources tell News 12 the man was waiting for a person he met on a dating app, at his home on East 21st Street.
But when he opened the door shortly before 9 p.m., two men dressed in all black with face masks forced their way inside.
The men held a gun to the victim’s head and ordered him to lie face down on the floor, according to police sources.
They tried to tie him up, but he resisted. One of the attackers then kicked him several times.
The pair stole some of his personal property before running away.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries and in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and police are still searching for the two robbers.
Tenants in the building said they were stunned to learn what happened.
“That’s terrifying. That’s really scary,” one tenant said.
Some also raised ongoing safety concerns, saying they’ve reported issues to management in the past.
“From a safety perspective, I think that the building could be doing a lot more for us,” one tenant who asked to stay anonymous said. "We’ve reported issues with packages being stolen."
Residents said they have asked the landlord to change the building’s access code because too many non-residents can get inside. One tenant said those concerns have gone unanswered.
News 12 has reached out to the building’s management but has not heard back.
