I don't think he pulled the knife shyt out. It was either found or fell while they beat the shyt outta him. He just lunged at Dave.

May be wrong but thats probably why. Can't charge somebody for attempted murder over shyt they have on them they didn't use during the crime. That would be like fighting a nikka with a gun on you, beating his ass and being charged for attempted murder just because the strap was on you
