But these ecelebs live on attention. It's their currency. Bad or good. To them the fact someone of her level acknowledge them is a sign of their increasing fame and recognition. Now he can milk being acknowledged by AOC for YouTube bucks. Same reason that dude Ben Shaprio was harassing her to debate him. It gives them a sense of credibility and feeling they are apart of the political system .

Reminding these people their lower status by not even acknowledging their existence is better imo.
