I love how in CM Phil's dvd he straight says that Miz being the main event pushed him to the brink :russ:

You know any pretense of sport is gone from WWE when they bury a roster filled with former amateur wrestlers/DI football players by having them lose to a reality show contestant.

i gave up on the real world shyt a little before he became champ. hes one of the worst champions on paper, but overall i didnt think he had a terrible reign. it was just a terrible idea putting the belt on The fukking Miz.

He was actually a good midcard cowardly heel calling out Cena back in like 08 or 09. That's the one role he can do and it looks like they're getting back to it.

But yea, making the champion was a bad idea

I've said before that Miz was MUCH better as the annoying, loud douchebag fratboy-type heel who went around yelling that stupid "hoo-rah" shyt

That's the type of nikka who you LOVE to hate, and you never get tired of seeing him get ethered

His mic skills even seemed better in that role. That gimmick is a major reason why I still stan him despite his downfall from main-eventing WM

I saw him being pushed towards the top title and becoming heel Jericho lite....and I was like :dahell:

I'll always be one of the rare Miz stans...but I'll admit he had no business being near the title at the time he got it. Miz, at best, is an entertaining heel midcarder

Him winning the belt was only good for 2 reasons: it was a genuine shock to many (something that's rare these days), and it was cool to see a genuine wrestling fan work his way up from a wannabe on a reality show, to winning the top title in the wrestling world
