I happily voted for Obama and like many others who saw him get elected and win, I too was blinded by the light of idealism and the notion that we had moved on as a country when it came to race... But deep down inside I knew that Obama in the White House would probably make white people more racist.

Obama has been gone for 6 years now and white people still can't get over it.

Even when Joe Biden does something questionable as President, they're trying to attribute it to Obama because they hate him so much.

There will never be true racial unity. We need to strive for people to respect each other and not impede on another group’s success. But thinking that people are going to see each other as equals and have no racial issues… good luck.
