Off 1st listen. Album is dope. Surprise tracks to me was Will Be and Patty Cake ...simple formula but it worked.

Most features complimented De la, Common verse sounded recycled to me or maybe its the topic he chose.
This and the Mobb Deep Album standouts from the Legend Has It series...

2/3 Sunny Storms is dope

It's kind of funny that these guys inspired the Larry Holmes, looking flabby and sick line from Pac and here they still are, probably dropping the AOTY after a long and stellar career. RIP Dave.

This is 100% a true to life De La album

Sitting firmly under Infinite for these Legend releases for me

On first listen: great album which is slightly too long for me, and I was told by y'all that Prince Paul was involved and maybe he was but I was disappointed not to hear him on this.

This is probably the most De La (not saying best...yet) album since the classic trilogy though.

This is an incredible record, more than I could have ever expected

A jewel in this campaign of releases that has been steeped in nostalgia and showcasing living legends and those who have passed on to whatever is next

What a tribute to Dave and another incredible project in the legacy of De La

This along with Big L’s and Mobb Deep’s is a beautifully powerful statement of the spirit of hip-hop enduring here and after here

As a hip-hop fan, this’ll go down as one of those special moments that I won’t soon forget

Salute to all involved

Edit: also, no shots, but yet another testament to the creativity of artists who have been doing this for decades to still put out compelling and quality music as they’ve gotten older…this thing is forever!
