Says nothing about finishing the story, or Orvertime mode as the writer of your story claims.

And even if this dlc is the same as overtime mode in the previous games, the amount of story exposition within them was minimal. You got the "good" ending by completing the base game.

Lotta assumptions made by the author with nothing to back it up but his own anger.

Maybe you should do a bit more research before posting a clickbait article and calling people stans.

EDIT: I can not prove it without spoiling the game. Plenty of people who have beaten the game can confirm this is true. EDIT2: Ive been at school all day so havent been able to post muchm basically the ending is frustrating and doesnt end the plot. Ita foricng the player to buy the dlc if they want a proper ending. It would be like if the credits fake out in sunset overdrive was the actual ending.

The true ending of the game is one of the dlcs in the season pass. Please dont encourage this and buy the dlc. This comment covers it without spoiling it

The guy wrote the story off the redit post,(goes to show how legit video game reporting is) but it still doesn't confirm the ending is locked behind a paywall.

Plenty or even most games have an open ended ending(to allow for a sequel), and also have story dlc. That doesn't mean you have to pay for the ending.
