This is just a stop gap measure til they can land a franchise big….but that’s the exact same issue the Lakers have had forever now. Pelinka bout to have one foot out the door this season. I think it’s gonna look good early tho, Lob City 2.0…they praying one of the new pieces is gonna step up huge, Thiero or Laravia.

Lakers win a chip if DA does these 3 things which are........???

Better question.
Does DA have to average a double double for the Lakers to be a championship contender?

It makes sense on paper but his mental is nowhere near his talent

He couldn’t lock in on an Elite CP3 led Suns team, then he couldn’t even establish himself as a top dog on a rebuilding Portland team that traded for him

LA media and Bron/Luka gonna get at this dude crazy if he doesn’t mature dramatically

LA fans and the culture will have this dude wishing he was back in Portland.

Gotta average a double double to keep the blame off you, especially if you're getting 28 mins plus

What has Pelinka actually done that's bad?

Yeah, for one year at their absolute peak and has declined since. Once he got that max he stopped caring. He’ll show a spark the first half of the season or so but if he’s not bringing it consistently, it’s gonna 100% piss off luka and LeBron. Even Booker and Durant were raising their voice at this dude for lack of effort :mjlol:
