I don't care who feels some type away by this post but black people dear black people don't be shamed into trying to include other groups of people into our issues when they don't feel the same way about us.

And I'm especially addressing this towards the younger set of black folks grew up in the obama era and feel that they need "allies".
we have no allies.
the sooner we start working on our own to achieve what we want and build in amongst our own the better we are and the better we will be.

Because these allies are not allies...everywhere I look on the map I see black people getting exploited...if they're not getting exploited by white people, they're getting exploited by white latinos, they're getting exploited by Chinese, they're getting exploited by Koreans, they're getting exploited by Indians, they're getting exploited by Arabs...and so on and so on.

Especially don't let older black folks try to shame you into thinking that this type of thinking is xenophobic or dvisive, because caring about yourself and your livelihood is not.

There's nothing wrong about caring for and about black people.

I read OPs post in a Huey Freeman voice, but seeing a Riley avatar :dwillhuh:
Funny thing is that Huey would probably support the blackBrownCoalition, while Riley would mock it, right before Riley started insulting other ethnicities.

Huey's character on the show was very pragmatic.

Dr. Khalid Muhammad was right on the money.
Anywhere you go with a black white dynamic or anywhere where black people are living amongst other races...black people are always at the bottom...and that's by design.

I wish black folks would carry water for other black folks the way we do for other races that don't even return the favor...

The black people that use these terms WANT these political alignments.

Saying it is meant to boost the precarious POC coalitions that already exist or affirm the creation of new ones.

Then we have the well-meaning black folks that use these terms because it's part of the socially aware vocabulary. We can definitely get these types to stop--and thankfully the black internet ecosphere (B1...) has changed the tide on this in the last decade.

If you see any Negro talking about BIPOC they are far gone, beyond help.

Aside from the fact that the term “people of color” is deliberately used to dilute an emphasis on issues germane to black people, the term itself is inherently self-hating. It presupposes that white is not a color, something separate and untainted.
