The tactic of dismissing and/or downplaying a prolific black persons opposition to racism, police brutality and white supremacy in general is a decades long practice. They've done it to damn near all black people of economic means with a public platform to give the impression they're success is evidence against the existence of whatever they're fighting against. You're rich, what problems with the police do you have? Ignoring the fact the majority weren't born rich and their siblings,parents, and extended family members often times aren't rich.
