Waive Taj to get another 5 mil, sign Brunson for 25 mil and Mitch for 15, Hold off on a Barrett extension so we only have his cap hold on the books, let the Rose's contract clear, trade Fournier for a lesser salary, and trade Randle next year and we can get another max slot then too.... I think. I did the math all in my head I could be wrong.

Six second-round pick to unload Kemba, Burks, and Noel for 30 millionish in cap. That looks like it'll get us Brunson with some space left over for a second move potentially. They also flipped that 11th pick for 3 future firsts potentially. That's not a bad start to the offseason imo.

I still maintain they shouldn't have been in this position to begin with, but great job resetting the clock. They took advantage of the small market of trading partners with cap space, offloading their own shyt while eliminating potential competition.
