We have some vague tweets from Donovan Mitchell and IQ...they could mean anything, but fans are pairing 'em up to suggest a trade is about to drop.


We also have a blue check claim that the deal is done and will be announced soon...5 picks, Grimes, Fournier, and one of Obi/IQ


And lastly, the Suns matching Ayton's contract was noted by Windhorst to take one more potential suitor off the board for Utah. But I feel like this is more Knicks for Clicks than anything, since Utah trading Mitchell to Phoenix never made much sense.

Just to note it can't be Obi or IQ as the last player due to salaries. Would need to either be Obi by himself or IQ & another player (probably Cam Reddish)

Anyway I would do that deal in a heartbeat. 5 first round picks sounds bad on paper until you remember the Knicks have like 8 in the next 4 years? So it's not like 5 years of picks, closer to 2 and they might even be able to keep one from this year or next
Utah likely not interested in swaps cause they're likely gonna be pretty shytty for a while


As for the Ayton thing, it was never about Spida going to PHX, it was about getting Durant to PHX and using Spida as a facilitator for that through a multi team trade. But with Ayton being untradable until 2023 that's all off the board. Suns are out of the Durant sweepstakes
