Debit Card Fraud...over 600 bucks missings, am I screwed?

You're not screwed. The bank will refund the bread. this happened to me a couple years ago. They actually called me and asked me about a $700 transaction at a jcpenny in Denver. Had me like Told them to dead that shyt.

Got it all worked out already....

Called the bank and they said that they would dispute the charge after it actually went through. But also said that if I really wanted to be proactive, that I could call the store and see if they could just cancel the order. I told them to cancel my card, and decided to give Wal-mart a go (Might as well get my money back as quickly as possible).

I called walmart and it was quick and easy. Dude told me that some cat tried to order a couple of "GoPro's", which are those cameras that people put on their bike helmets or whatever to film those videos.... fakkit won't be youtubing on my dime, that's for damn sure. Order never shipped, thank god....

Glad you got it handled. With the way technology is these days, there's a record of every transaction. at my job I can look up everything on the transaction and even view the customers on camera incase it was a fraudulent transaction. same with online orders since that's what they seemed to do here. so solving your issue was gonna be simple anyways. they might just need to send you a new card. if the one you got is compromised. gotta see how they took your number. maybe it was from the target black Friday heist or some other type of scam.

yeah I've seen sometimes they steal a card number and apply it to a magnetic strip and put it over their card. they come to my job and try to buy gift cards. gift card on credit is biggest scam. had one guy constantly having two or three cards denied. was buying cartons of cigs too. had to let him know I was on to his game and kick him out. haven't seen him since
