.No drugs & alchohol. First month was the toughest. Went from snorting an ounce a month to 0 tolerance. No friends who do drugs either. Essentially meant it was me alone. I learnt to accept myself and just chill. No phone. No facebook, No social. Just the coli & itsbx cos phones and social media make you accesible to people.
.Incorporated physical fitness into my daily routine. Being around a positive environment was a huge change from drinks, drugs, hoes (5 year+ run). I think i've blown atleast 100k on blow alone in 5 years. shyts crazy. MY dealer/plug loved me cos everyone I knew in corporate life was bout that life. Based on social connections I kept him fed but I'm in the gym now hoping to do my first IFBBB 12+ months just to say I did it.
.Find your passion. I knew I wanted to do more martial arts, so I'm waiting on my practice dummy whilst i heal and go back to BJJ. Its crazy how some 150pound kid wrapped me up (pause) and choked me Gi on. I couldn't get a good hold on him as it was one of my first sessions but BJJ is no joke. I got my ass handed to me by almost everyone in the gym. They really are no joke on the ground. Its scary, makes me almost never wanna fight in real life cos I got manhandled. They coulda snapped every fukking joint in my body if it was a real fight.
.Education. Got bored with my MBA but saw some cool online courses and started doing them since I had so much time on my hands.
.Get money. Being absolutely clean as boring as it has been when compared to my previous life has opened more doors plus allowed me to start to resolve some bad financial decisions made under the influece.
