Wow this is terrible
He doesn't understand what actually needs to be done. I mean of course he should speak his truth and all, but whatever it is he's aiming to do is not going to get acomplished like this.
If Lupe is his mans he should take notes. You're better off co-opting the sound and steering the content away from some of those things more toward balance. Nobody is going to fukk with your music just because it's 'positive' anymore than they're gonna eat your food just because it's nutritious, this shyt is unseasoned self rightiousness and strikes upon no middle ground to actually reach the people you say you're trying to talk to.
