it doesnt take an athlete to swing a bat

Yeah but it takes an athlete to be able to do some of the stuff they do in the field though. I just put this out there cuz I've had a lot of people tell me baseball was easy and not an athletic sport. But the things that a Ken Griffey or Kenny Lofton did off that wall when they were in the field was the epitome of athleticism.

But there's a huge difference between a few great athletes in the sport versus using the best athletes and acting like that is the standard of athleticism in the sport.

Sick ass video though. Actually watched me.

Now I have heard people say baseball players aren't athletes. This proves that as a straight up lie. Now could a NBA player go out and hit a prime Randy Johnson with no formal practice?

Wait, so you're comparing dunking a basketball with no defense to hitting a Randy Johnson fastball?

:what:

You can compare a basketball player pitching a baseball, fielding a ball, catching and any other part of baseball. That was just an analogy I used to say that a baseball player was just as much an athlete than a basketball player. Thought you could have figured that out.

YOU CANT BE SERIOUS.
GUYS LIKE BO, DEION, BARRY, GRIFFEY ARENT TYPICAL BASEBALL PLAYERS.
THEY ARE BLACLETHIC GAWDS.
THESE TYPE OF DUDES DONT EVEN WASTE THEIR TIME WITH BASEBALL ANYMORE,
THATS WHY THERES HARDLY ANY BLACK BALL PLAYERS NOWADAYS.

THE AVERAGE BASEBALL PLAYER IS :flabbynsick: IN TERMS OF ELITE ATHLETIC ABILITY.

:pachaha:LETS COMPARE THE NFL MVP TO THE NBA MVP TO MIGUEL CABRERRA.

I never said they were the same type of athlete. Just that it takes some athleticism to play baseball. You cant just wake up out the bed and decide to play baseball and be good if you don't have some kind of athletic ability.
