It was really dumb and I'm pretty surprised so many people deflected blame to Zimmer.

Point is, if you agree on the scheme, the DC is calling the rest of the defense accordingly. It's not like the secondary is by itself out there.

If there was a disagreement before, they needed to sort it out. What they did is basically sabotage, even if it came with good intentions.

Yeah he may be rolling his coverage a certain way depending on the offensive set. Just a bad decision by those guys. At least let the coach know

He was rolling coverage which explains how Jordy was so wide ass open. He's expecting any side that Rhodes was on to most likely be man so he'd have to account for any route combos going that way. All the Packers would need to do is move to him to slot and he'd be on a LB/Safety instead.

It's beyond dumb. I was trying to figure out how one of the top defenses in the league looked so bad when I was watching it

After the 1st drive, the Head Coach couldnt stop that :what:

This whole situation seems fugazi.

You won't know unless you're in the booth or watching film. Zimmer was calling the plays from the sidelines and when he found out he told them to fukking listen

Im sure its more than 1 defensive coach in the booth that was in the meetings like :wtf: Had to be. And they got torched vs the Colts the prior wk.

Apparently Terrance Newman's 38 year old ass wanted to see Jordy Nelson himself....then Jordy goes on to score two td's in a row.

In the 2nd hald, Rhodes shadowed Jordy like the plan was supposed to be, and Jordy didn't get off anymore.

Zimmer needs to get control of that locker room, because I can't imagine some nikkas doing whatever they want under :beli:

One outlier game doesn't make them a shytty defense all of a sudden.

He's calling the defensive plays and also the head coach, but you ain't gonna catch something like that from the sidelines. You never know what he could've been watching. Some DC's like to watch the o-line, Some DC's like to watch the LB's, and other like to watch the DB's. Considering he's a blitzing DC he could've been watching how his blitzes were working out. The main point is he's not going to be the first person to catch that unless someone tells him and when Newman did it basically had to be "fixed" at half time. The timeline makes sense because when Rhodes did what he was supposed to do Jordy only had 2 catches, but the damage was done already. They went from scoring 28 in one half to 10.

Why u caping for Zim? Mike Zimmer has a staff. At some point in the 1st half, someone in the booth that was in the defensive meeting had to see something was wrong. He wants credit for the 2nd half, Aaron and dem had already put they azz away. After the 1st Jordy TD, he dont get pics? He dont have a tablet? He dont notive Terrance Newman is on Jordy Nelson :what:
