Because he still averaged 26/6/4 shooting 52% from the field this past year on mostly jumpers those are all star numbers even with him on a decline and being on a badly built team, he can definitely contribute and put a team into contention immediately.


Dejounte still did okay with 17/6/7 (39% from the field) but these aren't all star numbers and we have no reason to think he's gonna go up from here

The point is I think he can still contribute to a team like the Wolves that need someone his with his specialties (slashing,playmaking,length,defense)
