I was telling brehs in a thread a few days ago that there's no safety difference between Spirit and the flagship airlines. It's just better service. Exhibit A:

Pilots train for this stuff in the full motion simulators the military and airlines have; it's routine. The aircraft manufacturers have made it easier on the flight crews as well by giving the airlines checklists to follow in case of certain situations that may arise during a flight.

From an Delta mechanic in the comment section

As a aircraft mechanic working for delta…. Let me tell you that it’s getting really difficult to do my job, first off delta has a very diverse fleet of aircraft so every time you work on a plane you are dealing with a system that is very different than any other plane you have been working on. Also we have been so short staffed it’s beyond scary. My normal crew on swing shift is supposed to be a minimum of 26 personal, the other day we were down 8 for the shift.

A shorty left not too long to hit the airport for a flight from Atlanta to Charlotte. It’s probably not a good idea to send this to her before her flight. Don’t wanna be giving people anxiety. Of course I’m about to send it though

but how many years did you live in an airport terminal to find this out :lupe:

As far as customer service/experience/comfort it’s a world of difference from a budget airline to delta. Most the other airlines slight to notable difference depending on the airline.

But as far as crashes and shyt I believe spirit may have a cleaner record than most so he’s not really lying. I done flew all these airlines multiple times and the only one that is head and shoulders above the rest to me is delta.
