Id see it as the passing of the torch type deal, Demarcus needs some strong vet leadership. Hes highly immature but hes not out here getting pulled over for duis....knocking a gang of smuts that we know of or getting into hoodrat shyt at night spots.

My whole thing is not understanding why a immature nikka who just wants to win is put in the same breath as other past nba clowns. Dudes comparing him to Rodman like hes a distraction on the court or off.

Less. That works to Utah's advantage since they had him behind 2 star forwards. It's only now they'll see him with actuall big time PT. He's going from 23 mpg to probably 32-34 mpg. If they lock him up now, he may outproduce his deal. If they let him test the market he may wind up getting just as much. He'll probably get what Curry got.

A guy like Enes Kanter will have a year to put up numbers before his time is due for a new deal.

I think it's in Favors best interest to ride this year out. If he averages a 15 and 10 he'll cash out.

I'll agree that Cousins could have used that earlier in his career. That wasn't there for him (but on really bad teams nowadays, that's not there for a lot of guys)

I don't compare him to Rodman. The Sheed comparison is a little more on point, though we look at Rasheed Wallace and always think he could have been even better than what he showed if he would just calm down. The irony is that Sheed left Portland, went to Detroit and became one of those pillars (and that's what some people believe is a best case scenario for him, where he'll figure it out but it'll be somewhere else and later on in his career, like Zach Randolph)

favors and kanter have been disappointing.......cousins it was always a question about work ethic, hopefully he can continue the all star level play
