No receiver is ever going to get the Megatron deal again...EVER...because no receiver is going to be in the situation calvin was in...be the only marketable player on your team (white people are two scared of suh for him to be marketable) on a team based in a city STARVING for football (detriot) while being a high round draft pick during the old CBA where 1st round picks instantly became the highest paid players on the team before actually playing football...80% of the reason Calvin got that contract is because because there was no limit to what rookies could sign for...

Do people not realize that Calvin rookie contract was 6 yrs / 64 mil / 27 guaranteed...do people not realize he was the no 2 pick...

No receiver going forward is going to get a rookie deal like that as a starting point...making it impossible to get to Calvin numbers...

And for people saying Dez got the short end of the deal...uh...no receiver in the nfl has more guaranteed money coming to him than Dez does going forward...and he gets all 45 mil on March 15 2016...

Don't see how that is a loss, to have more guaranteed dollars than any receiver in football right now AND to get all your guaranteed money in around 8 months after signing your contract
What does Calvins rookie deal have to do with anything? :wtf:

How much your rookie deal is doesn't dictate what you'll get for your 2nd contract

:dahellwhat:

So you telling me that in business how much money you make is not based on how much money you originally signed on for :dahellwhat:

You need to master the art of flipping them fries breh cause this business thing is not for you AT ALL:dahellwhat:

Matter fact fukk that...take all the money you have and let breh and associates manage it for you...

You really honestly believe that a guy who's 1st contract was 64 million was going to take anything less than what Calvin took...:dahellwhat:

You think you going to walk into a business deal with a person or an entity that was in the process of making 64 million and offer them 70 and they are going to be like "okay that is great":dahellwhat:

You think any receiver getting drafted now who's entire rookie contract probably won't be worth was calvin was making per year as a rookie is going to somehow jump up and get a 100 million dollar contract :dahellwhat:

Using your logic Justin Houston shouldn't have gotten 101 mill since he was only making 645k per year on his rookie deal :snoop:

You get paid based on how good you are and how good the team thinks you'll be during the duration of the contract yall are negotiating

Rookie deals have nothing to do with how much a player will get paid in his 2nd contract

Calvin got what he because hes a beast not because he made 64 mill his 1st contract

generally i agree with you...BUT...russell willson is playing a game of poker with the seahawks FO primarily because, the jump from his rookie deal to the type numbers he's about to get on his new contract, is so vast
