In the aftermath of Clinton's loss, a lot of people were saying that the Democrats did it to themselves by scheming against Bernie.

And it appears establishment democrats are at it again.

I like Warren the most because I think she has the most detailed plans for her agendas. But Bernie would be fine too.

If the democrats blow this and put someone like Biden or (ugh) Bloomberg on the ticket....they're basically begging for the country to abandon them and form a 3rd major political party.

At the end of the day, all these politicians want to protect their financial interests, and Bernie is the candidate to jeopardize all of that. Biden or Bloomberg will just continue on with the status quo. The DNC can't believe that either of those two getting the nomination would excite the base, nor would they try to push forward with any kind of substantial change. They're not afraid that Bernie would lose, they're afraid at the possibility of him winning.

And that's why they're gonna lose again. It appears the majority of Democrat voters in this country prefer Bernie.

Repubs get behind whoever they feel gives them the best chance for a W, regardless of who it is. They hated Trump but got behind him cause they know he's who their voters want.

Warren is too progressive for the corporatist establishment Dems.

I wonder if progressives would start to break off into a new party. Seems people have the perception that both parties establishment care more for corporations than people.
Well, Warren will have great numbers in the Black community in Michigan.

I'm voting for her -- as well as all of my family there. My Uncle just joined the campaign in my town to help. They serious right now...LOL.

I believe Warren is the best of what's left in this crop of candidates; however, she isn't polling as well as some of the others.

Bernie is talking about making all this stuff more available to the common man, but he hasn't laid out a very comprehensive plan on how he's going to achieve any of it.

Center left and moderate Democrats aren't fooling with Bernie like that. That's were the Democrats bread and butter has traditionally been. Its Millennials and Generation Z individuals that are high on Bernie and pushing the party further to the far left.

I'm not sure he's charismatic enough to beat Trump, but we'll see if he ends up with the nomination.

If we're being honest, the Democrats need to shed themselves of the progressives. They've hijacked the party and took it further left than most of middle America is willing to go.

There is no way in hell you're going to sell americans on a drastic tax increase. Most people who work and earn decent money are already pissed at the amount of taxes they pay now.

When it comes to healthcare, they would be much more effective if they actually targeted healthcare providers and insurance companies to stop the shameless price gouging they indulge in. Seriously, god forbid you or anyone else close to you has to have emergency care but if they do, request an itemized bill and just look at how much they charge for the simplest things. A diabetic may go to the hospital and get a snack and a soda to stabilize their blood sugar and the er visit will be well over 1000 bucks and then they'll charge you 40 bucks for the snack and soda. We've become so accustomed to the system where insurance pays for everything we dont even question why the prices are so high.

And of course the percentage of people who have to seek regular care is low compared to the general population so the majority of people cover the sickly and the insurance companies still reap obscene profits.

But to tackle that problem means politicians will have to risk not getting that sweet insurance lobby money. How else will people with no marketable skills get elected to public positions and increase their net worth by millions of dollars?
