Pelosi is great in the house, behind the scenes which unfortunately in this system in largely focused on fundraising which is a problem with the entire system itself. I remember hearing a story that most people elected to the house spend almost 75% of their time on phones trying to get money. She is also a great whip. However she isn't a good propaganda warrior and isn't doing great as a front facing leader of the party. Also there seems to be a strain of resistance to things that are new and the idea that there is only one choice for leader is myopic. Barbara Lee's name has been thrown out and I would personally be on board and I find her a better front facing voice of the party.
I'm not totally against her being the leader in the house and am not 100% on board of her being pushed out but god damn the party is in dire need of new blood and younger people in the party. For a lot of people , pelosi represents an old guard class and people desire change from that .
