Stop using strictly numbers to determine if someone is a great defender or not. I see yall saying Jokic is tied for 2nd in the NBA in steals. Luka actually averages more steals than him but he hasn’t played enough games to qualify, and we all know Luka isn’t a good defender at all.

By the way, Rodman is the only player to ever win DPOY while averaging less than a steal and block per game.

Not sure if you slighting Rodman or not.

Those opposing player field goal percentages tell what guys are really doing. When Rodman wasnt making them miss shots they had to give it up. He could guard 1-5 at only 6'7".

He did all the dirty work that dont show up on the stat sheet. He was the definition of a lockdown defender. We'll never see another Rodman.

dude was a pest , a demon on the court and a beast on them boards . Edit forgot to add his motor was always on 100, even during games he would hop on the stationary bike, for those who didn't see him play best way to describe him is think :russ: energy/motor on Meth and PCP
